US announces preliminary AD determination on Taiwan's corrosion-resistant steel products
On September 4, 2024, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its preliminary determination that certain corrosion-resistant steel products from Taiwan are being sold at prices lower than fair value in the US during the period of review from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
A dumping margin of 0% was assigned to Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd. (SYSCO), and Prosperity Tieh Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Great Grandeul Steel Company Limited (Samoa) received 1.63%.
Besides, due to no reviewable suspended entries during the review period, the USDOC rescinded the administrative review on six companies, including China Steel Corporation, Chung Hung Steel Corporation, Great Fortune Steel Co., Ltd., Great Grandeul Steel Co., Ltd., Great Grandeul Steel Corporation, Xxentria Technology Materials Co., Ltd.
The final result of this administrative review is scheduled to be announced not later than 120 days after the date of publication of this preliminary ruling.
