On September 5, 2024, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy (SE) announced the final determination of the fourth anti-dumping (AD) sunset review and the final ruling of the AD ex officio review on welded link steel chains originating in China, regardless of the country of origin, deciding to continue the AD duties on the subject products.

The AD duty is modified from a unit tax of US$0.50/kg to an ad valorem tax of 28.06%. The measure takes effect from July 18, 2023, valid for five years.

The products involved are under HS code 7315.82.91.
