Arcadium Lithium, an Australian company engages in the production of lithium chemicals products, announced that it will suspend Stage 4A waste stripping and any expansionary investments after Stage 3 at its Mt Cattlin spodumene mine in Western Australia due to the continued decline in spodumene prices.

Besides, Arcadium Lithium also planned to start the care and maintenance for the Mt Cattlin site upon completion of Phase 3 mining and ore processing by the end of the first half of 2025.

These decisions lead the company to expect a cumulative increase in expected net cash flows of around US$75 to US$100 million in 2024 and 2025.
