On September 3, 2024, the Chilean Anti-Price Distortion Commission (CNDP) announced its decision to terminate the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on forged steel bars for manufacturing grinding balls with a diameter of less than 4 inches originating in China, recommending not to impose AD duties.

As a result, the temporary AD duties on steel bars and balls, with a respective duty rate of 33.5% and 24.9% set in April, will be ended.
