Turkey’s steel pipe producer Borusan Boru said its US subsidiary Borusan Berg Pipe has signed an agreement with Blackcomb Supply Co, LLC, a subsidiary of Texas-based infrastructure company Whitewater Midstream, for the supply of steel pipes to the Blackcomb Mainline project, an import infrastructure project in North America.
The Blackcomb Pipeline project is designed to transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day through the around 365-mile, 42-inch pipeline that stretches from the Permian Basin in West Texas to Agua Dulce in South Texas.
The contract was valued at around US$363 million. Deliveries were set to start in 2025.
