According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 126,000 tons of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) sheets and strips in July, increasing by 4.6% compared to the previous month and by 5% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico occupied the largest proportion, totaling roughly 76,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 15.3% and a year-on-year growth of 32.3%. Canada ranked second with around 49,000 tons, and the exports to other destinations were not so many.
During the period, the export value of this product totaled around US$177 million, up by 1.7% month on month and by 7.1% year on year.
