Jindal Stainless said the government's supportive measures are likely to increase domestic metal usage. Besides, the government is currently actively promoting the use of stainless steel in infrastructure projects.
Jindal Stainless foresaw a growth of 10% in its export volume for this fiscal year. In addition to Europe, the company has expanded its market footprint to Japan and South Korea.
Jindal Stainless has a goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. By adopting energy-saving technologies and expanding the scale of renewable energy, the company has reduced more than 300,000 tons of CO2 in the past three fiscal years. It planned an investment of Rs 7 billion in sustainable development projects to reduce 1.5 million tons of carbon emissions annually.
