Arc Infrastructure has signed an iron ore transportation agreement with iron ore mining company Gold Valley to transport 1.2 million tons of iron ore per year.

Arc Infrastructure, a rail freight network company responsible for Western Australia, operates 5,000 kilometers of railway across the state.

The iron ore will be transported from West Kalgoorlie to the Port of Esperance via the Arc Network and is expected to start on September 30, with three return train paths a week.

The deal reflects Arc's continued commitment to increasing rail freight volume, which has a great boost for the region. Meanwhile, the rail is also an important step in the long-term development of the Gold Valley iron ore project.
